Founding Director — Matt Padley
Aubourn Architecture was founded in 2020 by Matt Padley, a Chartered Architectural Technologist with 20 years’ experience across architecture, development and construction. Matt studied at Sheffield Hallam University, where his final year project was highly commended in the CIAT Student Award for Technical Excellence.
Our Name
The practice takes its name from a painting of Aubourn Weir by Ronald James Padley — Matt’s Grandad. Ron was also a technical draughtsman, and an artist at heart, so the practice name serves as an inspiration for the work we do.
